ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Sara. I spent the last 15 years talking about lube. Not exclusively, but almost daily. That's what happens when you work in feminist sex shops, which I've been doing since 2005.

In 2011, I started my own queer, feminist, sex positive, alternative sex shop in Berlin, called Other Nature, which I left in the hands of my team in May 2021.

But I quickly realized that, while I was done selling sex toys, I wasn’t done talking about lube. All about it.

I also enjoy hiking, experimental baking and small animals.

Sutil Luxe is made by an awesome, women-owned, Canadian manufacturer. It has a light, silky texture that comes pretty close to feeling like a silicone-based lube but in a water-based formula.

With a pH of 4.5, it’s made to match most vulvas and vaginas (most of the time). For neo-vaginas and butts, Sutil Luxe’s thicker counterpart Sutil Rich, with a pH of 6, might be more suitable.

Both Luxe and Rich are paraben- and glycerin-free, and come in a biodegradable tube!
